AP Physics B Questions

Hi. I plan to take AP Physics B next year, and I am wondering on how I could prepare for that class, and its national exam. I plan on getting the textbook and studying that over the summer, but should I get the princeton review book as well for nation exam studying? Any suggestions would help. Thanks!

You’re pretty much taught physics so there is no necessary preparation for the class. I say do extra practice on the topics you need as you learn the material.

review books are useless. Find a book with a lot of problems. Do as many problems as possible. For my physics midterm on tuesday i have done close to 600 problems. I plan to do another 500 tomorow. This includes MC.

^500 problems in one day? That seems a little excessive…

Okay not a little excessive, it’s extremely excessive. The Physics B exam isn’t that hard; nor is the Physics C one (s), though it is considerably harder. Honestly, doing the 1100 problems the previous poster suggested isn’t the answer; just study as your teacher tells you and you’ll be fine. No need to study the year before either, unless you like physics (like me) and want to study it for fun.

I would keep a review book just in case you don’t understand a particular concept from the textbook. Princeton review does a great job simplifying the convoluted physics concepts taught in the various textbooks.

Alright, Thanks a lot guys!
