AP Physics B!?!

Hey guys, I am taking Physics B this year and I really want to boost my grade up at school. And also get 5 in AP test. Are there more problem solving questions or free response questions other than college board? Thank you so much.

I’m also taking AP Physics B this year and I want a 5. I got the Princeton Review book, which has a really helpful review of concepts I’ve learned so far. It has multiple choice and short answer questions at the end of each chapter and it has 2 practice exams in the back. I study it the day before I take a test and right now I have a 99 average in the class and I understand everything we have covered so far :)

I think the collegeboard’s old FRQ’s should be more than enough for you. If you want more MC problems, look over your teacher’s tests, old collegeboard MC questions, and review book problems, and you should be golden. If you want even more, buy Schaum’s outline of like 3000 solved physics problems.

:( physics is so hard :(

^I agree, haha. Physics is hard but it’s also fun and challenging. I feel great when I actually understand problems and can solve them, but unfortunately that’s not too often. I have Princeton and Shaum’s. Can anyone verify the usefulness of Shaum’s in studying for AP Physics B? Many of the questions in this book don’t seem to be like those I’ve been doing in class, although I understand it would be wise to be exposed to a variety of problems.

Schaum’s might be a notch above AP material, so some problems might be irrelevent.

Schaum’s book is decent, though it covers some material that’s not on the AP test. PR is more helpful for the AP exam and has tougher problems.

I need help, my class and teacher, and school for that matter, is a huge fiasco. Last year, only 2 people passed the AP Physics B exam with 3’s out of 40 damn students! And right now, I’m on the track for a one. I study, I really do, but when the teacher doesn’t care I start to stress out and can not keep up with the subject/textbook. I really want to pass with a 3 or 4, and I have the princeton review. What should I do?
My other ap classes, I’m definitely getting 4’s and 5’s. Physics is the only one that is killing me. :(
