<p>Can you get college credit for just taking the Mechanics part of the AP Physics C? If so, how many? Also how many do you normally get if you do both Mechanics and e&m?</p>
<p>I think it all depends on the college. Check out your future college’s website for their AP Test Policies and it will usually break down the credit you receive from AP tests. Sometimes there will be additional credit if you take both tests and receive a 3 or above, for example, on both. Since C: Mech is its own course and test though, you should be able to get credit for only taking that test granted the college gives AP credit to begin with.</p>
