AP practice books

So which of these are better or if you have other recommendations, please do say so(:
1) AP Biology -
Barrons vs. CliffNotese

2) AP US History -
Princeton Review vs. REA

*Do Editions matter?

From what I asked previously, I think CliffsNotes is better. I don’t think anyone has recommended Barron’s. In fact, I think it’s on the What NOT to use list because it has too much information. You can check the list at the stickied thread at the top of the AP forum.

REA is on the recommended list so I think it’s good. Quite a few people say not to use PR but then again there are some who used PR and got a 5.

I don’t think so but I like to get the most recent edition haha.

CliffNotes for Bio
REA for APUSH, but get AMSCO if you can.

yea those books are good I also used apexamreview.com for practice tests. Works great.

Do you guys mind stating which one you’d prefer most rather than saying they are all good(: Thannnks(: ! And if possible can someone tell me why everybody thinks Kaplan SAT review book sucks? I like the layout and appearance but maybe the content is bad.

kaplan is probably the worst book for every single subject, because it is full of so many typos and illogical answers and non-AP content and…omg just don’t get it. I once took a practice test for calc using kaplan’s and the in the solutions they used calculus III techniques
