AP Procrastination Stories:

Also, it depends on if you took the class and paid attention in that class. I mean, I barely studied for the AP US history test last year and got a 5, but I did pay attention in class, and did most of my homework.

My AP scores so far (I don't study that much): 4,5,5,5,5

Though I'll probably get a 3 or lower on the AP Spanish test I'm taking Tuesday. That's a little harder to cram for.

These stories are inspirational. I've slept through the whole and semester of physics b.The exam is the 8th so I have plenty of time to cram.

Hoping for 4 of them this year.
WHO HASN'T STARTED STUDYING?!!!

Hurry up primeminister!!!!!

haha. i wrote my first ever dbq for world history on friday. our class is doing our first change over time on monday and our first comparative on tuesday. then the exam is wednesday. yesssss.

andraaa are you serious well good luck

If you really need to cram for essays, I suggest looking at the SparkNotes for world history SAT II ASAP so you can have a grasp of some general ideas you can write about for the FRQ's and DBQ instead of having to sift through lots of info.

yeah if you know like one general trend for each AP essay and you can strech it into 10 sentences with a couple facts and a basic intro and closing you'll be aight.

im cramming for Gov and Spanish

crammed for AP comparative the night before. however, i will say that i was taking the AP european history exam, which did help me with knowledge of russian/french/british history and stuff like that. that said, i didn't know that MEXICO was going to be on the test, or any third world country like that so i COMPLETELY didn't answer an FRQ because i had no idea about mexico/nigerian government. otherwise, i got a 4. pretty good i think, with less than 5 hrs studying?

Last year I was a good sophomore and studied for the World Hist...
This year I"m a junior who is just crossing her fingers for the next two weeks.
Actually, I'm pretty confident for Monday's English, We had a practice test given to us in the beginning of the year, and I got the equivalent of a 5, so, assuming that I didn't just go crazy over the course of this year, I like to think that I'll be ok.
Wednesday's Calc is another story. My test grades were everything from an A+ to a D-, depending on how busy my night was before the each test. Took a Sample AP, totally bombed it, tried to make an effort and went to review sessions, but could not stay awake... like at all.
I haven't really started doing anything yet. Any last minute cramming advice? I'm hoping to take Tuesday off from school to do so.

Friday's APUSH- I'm somewhere on the high 4/low 5 border, we were assigned homework to outline a chapter in the textbook. Am currently actually doing that. But that will probably be my only studying. (Unless you can really learn anything when asleep at review sessions.... see a pattern here? my teachers like to hold them at 7 AM after I am up until 3 AM doing their homework assignments the night before)

Wednesday-Psych- It's in more than a Week. psh.

and then I have Music Theory sometime, but considering how the people in charge of ordering tests at my school said that they haven't worked on it (I need to do it on a make-up test date), I assume it's far away enough that i don't have to think about it yet.

two years ago i didn't study at all for comp sci a and still got a 4. last year i didn't study for english language and got a 4, and i skimmed barron's the day before chem and got a 5 (though right after the test i thought i had gotten a 3). we did review during class, though, so studying wasn't really necessary anyway.

Last year, I started studying 2 weeks before the test. By some miracle or another, got a 5.

This year, I started studying 2 days before the test. Praying for another 4 miracles ;)

Next year, will I start studying 2 hours before the test? I hope, for my own good, this trend does not continue.

***8 HOURS WILL AP ENGLISH LANG KICKS OFF!!!!

Last year as a sophomore I studied the night b4 for AP Micro and got a 1 lol. guess all miracles dont work out. (hey somebody had to post an xam they failed! atleast i was honest) lol

Thank you Oboesmrtguy40, for posting a REALISTIC story.
I'll be taking my 1st APs this year, starting with french tomorrow, and I'm currently cramming. :)

haha, I didn't study at all for my AP's last year. And when I mean at all I mean I pretty much did not do hw or take home assignments for the month or two preceding the tests. I failed Calc AB with a 1, I failed English with a 2 (probably wouldve passed, but our test date got postponed and I wrote the test grader a letter about how I really didn't feel like taking this test)...but, all hope was not lost, I got a 4 on APUSH.

Im starting to get nervous about the econs. I am giving myself monday night - thursday to study micro + macro. Are those stories about people studying for 2 hrs and getting 5's really true for these tests. The q's for the people who didnt "sleep through the class." I dont take these for classes.

What are you talking about? Nigeria wasn't on the test last year...?

I'm gonna study later today for Calc AB...took a APUSH practice test at a review session yesterday and got a raw score of 140...last year's cutoff for a 5 was 114 :). I'm still gonna read my textbook wed and thursday night to prep (I'm so glad we don't have school fri so i can take my APUSH exam, go home, and cram for SAT IIs...very nervous).

I'm basically screwed for Chem Wed. Anyway i can learn this in like 4 days?

im serious, like, take a few adderalls on the few days before the exam, crack open a study book, cram, and you'll get a 5 on most, except for the math/science ones of course (although bio...)
