upcoming AP exams?
I AM.

My spring break is ending, and I have no idea how I'm going to cram in study time for all 5 of my APs. Sigh!
(Calc AB, APUSH, Bio, English Language, Spanish Language)

How is everyone studying?

I feel your pain.

I’ve barely studied for any of my exams yet, and I’ve got Calc BC, APUSH, Bio, and French.

I don’t know if this is the same as Spanish, but for French, much of it is just skills you should have developed in your previous years, so you can’t study very much for it.

For Bio, I’m just planning on going through Cliffs AP Bio and taking notes + studying them…

For APUSH, I have Crash Course + the AMSCO book…

For Calc, we’ve begun doing AP problems in class (because we’re done covering all of the material), so I’m not too worried about it. Plus, our teacher makes the class so hard in the first place that the AP seems relatively easy.

I think imma botch up my tests this year, except for AP Calc BC My last hope :)

Yes, I’m apprehensive for them.

Absolutely.

I hate the fact I get so much work from my non-AP classes (cough GYM) that I can’t make time to study for what really matters.

^Why do you receive homework in P.E.?

P.E. sucks, I mean the teachers are literally getting paid for playing with children…

I really feel happy my school is pretty ■■■■■■■■ we literally don’t get any home works, so I spend my day studying for APs. Moreover, spring break starts here on next Saturday, so I have a free week.

But still…

I don’t feel them yet. I don’t feel them yet. I don’t feel them yet. yeah, not yet, but I will.

Last year, I took five fake AP Euro exams over spring break, and three stats. This year, I haven’t even started preparing. Granted, my APUSH teacher has been giving us DBQs and FRQs over ANYTHING all year long… took my first APUSH practice test just now… squeezed by with a 5, but barely… I am feeling the pressure.

She always gives us an essay every week and everyday we’re supposed to have a “pop” quiz - which I failed the vast majority of. She asks us stuff that we NEVER go over or things totally irrelevant, like “What is a football made of?” (Cowhide - if anyone cares) when we’re still on basketball.

Yeah, like we’re all gonna use that information at one point in our hapless existence. That class makes me mad - it’s bringing my grade down.

I only have one this year (first ever), APEH, so I’m trying not to feel too worried. But I will, by the end of April. I’m so totally (not) excited for my senior year, when I take 7.

^7 APs!!! That sounds like SO much fun…

Yes, I feel it…except for APUSH (b/c I’m doing pretty well with the practice tests) and maybe Calc AB.

DOOM = AP Lang., AP Chem. (teacher doesn’t teach) :(

@sciencefrenchie - Yeah, 7’s a lot, and one of them is a self-study (French). But in total, I’ll only have done 10, so it’s not like I’ll have a crazy amount under my belt once I graduate. Maybe if it’s too much, I’ll drop the French. At my school, there’s no AP French, but I really want to place in higher French courses in college.

5 APs this year.
I’m really fearing the fact that we’re down to only 3 weeks…

8 AP’s this year. All self-study. Yeah, I’m feeling the burn. Anyone else self-studying Macro and Macro? I’m not very confident about those.

@HIGHreachNoob: I’m taking 10 this year (5 self-study, 4 with help from tutors, 1 I’m taking at school) and I’m feeling really uneasy. I self-studied Macro in less than two days, and I received a 3 on a practice test. =( The MC was OK but I failed the free response.

I’m going to die on AP Chem and AP Lang. Chem was alright until I reached Acid and Bases. I don’t understand how to do some of those problems. Help would be appreciated.

I suck at Lang, so I would be glad if I get a 3, and be in a state of euphoria if I get a 4.

I’m relatively worried about AP Calc (I hate math, and I can’t do it to save my rear end) and Bio (too much to memorize!)

APUSH is okay.

Spanish (ugh, the speaking) and Lang (I love English) I’ll just wing; they’re skill based, so there isn’t really any way to study!

Sigh. 3 weeks…

European History: haven’t finished text book… still gotta cover post WWI and onwards, although am generally feeling confident. Going to completely read through Modern European History (holy grail of all APEH studying) as my review
U.S. GoPo: still have to finish reading though the princeton review book, although will never read it, my main excuse being that I’m awaiting the Crash Course guide from barnes & noble.

I’m really fearing that I’ll do better on Euro than on GoPo, which would look very odd, considering they are both being self-studied and GoPo should be a lot easier. Hm… either way, 4s and 5s and I’ll be one happy camper :D
