AP Psychology

how long did (hours/mins) is the test?

It’s only 2 hours, a 70 minute MC section and a 50 minute FRQ section.

I don’t know if it was just me but I found psych to be ridiculously easy.

I found it to be quite a bit easier than the other exams I’ve taken this year: US Gov, Calc BC, Physics B and Biology

This was the easiest exam I have ever taken in my life. I certainly needed the ego boost after the BC Calc exam.

There were a couple multiple choice questions where I’d eliminate two or three and then had to guess, but the free response was very easy! Especially since I’d just taken AP Chem 20 minutes earlier when I took it, lol.

nonexistent- agreed. i had a lot of time to kill on the multiple choice.
it was a walk in the park compared to ap chemistry, in my opinion. all of the ap chem kids taking psych sprinted to our psych classroom to get the last bit of pizza before we went to our test! we were 15 minutes late, but we still had to hear all of the instructions for filling out the purple section!

Yeah, I finished with 20minutes left and rechecked my answers and there was still 10 left.

What was the answer to the question about the child throwing ball?

That was so easy! Glad that I had two easy exams today. Took chem, ran back to the chem classroom for a few slices of pizza and to stuff string cheese and apples in my pockets, took psych, ate during the break. Oh, and drank copious amounts of coffee. While buzzed, I did the MC in like 20 minutes and wrote like 5 pages for the FRQ.

If I tell you to throw something to me, and you don’t know what “throw” is, you can not complete the task. If i show you the action, then say, 'throw it", you can because you put a movement (prototype) to the word.

I don’t remember that “throw” question at all. o.O

Anyway, it was the easiest exam I’ve taken thus far. Quite a few MC I eliminated down to 2-3 choices, and guessed. Left one blank. FRQ was easyyyy except the first one I didn’t know what the term with “justification” in it was, and the second one was meh. I wasn’t sure what they wanted us to do, so I just made up stories that happened in the rally and applied the terms. Approx 2.5 pgs (bigish, sloppy writing with a lot of cross outs) for each.

anyone got released exams?

That was way too easy! FRQ was amazing but I almost wrote too much… about 3 pages each. Ouch!

There were a few MC questions we had never heard of (well maybe only 1 or 2). :frowning: But I think it was the easiest full test that we’ve taken in psych class!

I’m sure we can talk about the frq now. I knew all of the terms except functional fixedness, and how classical conditioning led to superstition. I bsed that, and I guessed right.

The next one, I just didn’t know figure ground theory, but its all good. MC will help me out big time.
