AP requirement for International Student

Hey there
I’m a student from Thailand interested in applying for college in the US.
I have not yet finalized my college list, but (well, like most ppl) I want get
into most selective schools (if that is possible)!
I wonder if I need to submit AP exam scores for my college application.
It would be a bit of a fuss since my school does not offer AP classes or exams. </p>

If I want to get into those “most selective” schools, can I just work to
perfect my SAT I and SAT IIs and put a lot of time on my ecs instead?</p>

No college requires AP exams for admission. However, almost all competitive applicants have them. AP’s are college level classes and show strength of schedule. If you have taken college level classes or other high level classes, it may make up for it. Also, you could self-study an exam.</p>
