there is a box on the top right of hte article and it has the stats in excel format. just to throw this here: i counted a few months ago, last year only around 530 people got national ap scholars before their senior year.

Anyone hear anything about their state's AP scholar?

I just spoke with them and my child's AP records had been split into 2 accounts. They are merging the accounts and will send a corrected transcript and new certificate (with Distinction) within 2 weeks. The same thing happened with SAT IIs. Call 888-225-5427, especially if you are applying EA or ED.

I just got mine yesterday. (fla)

i got mine today. (TX)

aron, same thing happened to me and i got the same reply
glad that they solved it so quickly

I don't know why i got distinction instead of national.

yeah, I think the distinction people are starting to get theirs, I got mine on friday(TX)

Illinois today.

Got mine two days ago. California.

I got a scholar with honor
just a question, do colleges really pay attention to these awards?

I got mine on 9/28. (Colorado).
And for cookiesgarden, I don't really know. I mean, colleges know your AP scores anyway so I don't really think they need an award to highlight them.

No they don't. Unless you get them before senior year is done and put them on your apps.
For example, I got National AP Scholar, but it won't help me get into any colleges, seeing as how I'm already in college

ahhh missed national ap scholar by one exam, i could have put it on my college apps :(
(7 ap classes, 6 5's, 1 4) XD

I got Four 5's, Four 4's, and Two 3's. That Qualifies me for National Scholar, right?

I still haven't received a certificate in the mail yet.

Does getting a 4 in Physics C: Mechanics alone count as a score? Or do you have to take the Electricity and Magnetism test as well?

no, because they are separate exams. so you arent required to take both. the only scores that dont count for the ap scholar stuff are the calculus and music theory subscores.

i finally got mine today in the mail.
national scholar baby!
and yes there are two physics C's, each of which counts as a separate exam.

K nvm, just got it. 10-1-07. Thanks guys!

i got 3 5s and 2 4s but I only got the honor and not distinction

I GOT MINE! ap scholar w/ honor
