High school transcipts don't include AP scores. You're asked to write down what you got on your application, but it's optional. You only actually send them once you're already admitted and are trying to get class credit for them - although don't lie, because MIT eventually will find out and get angry if you do. You can actually call the College Board and request for a particular score(s) to be withheld from a college for something like $8. Personally, I don't think you should freak out over a 3 in English, but it's up to you. The deadline is mid-June. Or you could do what I did with my 2 in AP Physics... I didn't write any score for Physics down on my application, but I didn't worry enough about it to have it withheld.

Same here...
(that is, I did the same thing)

actually, I think some high schools do put AP scores on the transcript. Check with your school.

My school doesn't include AP scores on its transcipt, but it adds points to your grade if you get a 5 on the AP exam

If they do sometimes put them on (and college don't require them to), see if you can ask them to not put the grade on the transcript. If you can have the College Board even withhold the grade, I'd personally argue with my guidance dept that they really shouldn't disclose it either. I don't think most schools include them though...

Don't worry about it. Send them in anyway, especially if your school prints it right on the transcript. It's not like they won't see it, might as well make it easy for them?
