Is there a section on college applications for AP scores or do students send in the scores through collegeboard like the SAT's? Or do colleges not look at them?

Most schools ask for them on the application and then confirm them when they get the report from Collegeboard. The reason is that many of the APs aren't taken until the senior year--so they want to know both the scores of the APs you've already taken, as well as which ones you plan to take. And if you are admitted, they want to know your final senior year AP scores also-both to confirm you took the test and to see whether you have earned college credit by taking the AP exam.
