If you receive a 1 or 2 on a AP exam, does the Academy care? Can they do anything to do for such a horrible grade?

Don't send it. I can't say how they would take it, but just in case... don't send it. If its too late, I wouldn't worry about it, its not like SAT scores.

AP scores are like SAT scores in only way: if you send one score you send all of them. I'm pretty sure low AP scores will have no consequence.
USNA strongly recommends sending AP Calculus scores for validation purposes, so if you think you got a 4 or 5 on the AP Calc AB/BC you should send your scores. Don't worry about low scores on other tests if you're hoping to validate something with a score (USNA Course Validation Policy%5DUSNA">http://www.usna.edu/acdean/candidateinfo/USNACourseValidationPolicy.htm)).
If it makes you feel better I sent my scores to validate calc I and (hopefully) II even though my AP Chinese score is almost definitely a 1 (I used "This is Sparta!" like 3 times in the free response!).
I can't imagine they would withdraw an appt for low AP scores.

Don't worry about it. For history and political science classes they require a 5 to validate. For physics and calc you will take a test during plebe summer in order to determine where you will be placed.

hahaha I used "this is sparta" for AP Psych.

From my AP English teacher: AP's can never be used against you in the admissions process for any college. A 1 or 2 won't hurt you.
