Hi! I’m going to be taking AP seminar in my senior year and want to know how the class is like. How do you choose a topic to write about? Can that topic be about anything?

Hello! I took AP Seminar this past year and it was a great class. Some time in the year, you must do a individual and a group project for the AP test, but in my class we did 2 individual projects and 2 group projects total (1 as practice). For the AP test projects, you can choose any topic you want to research, and your teacher will tell you how to go about choosing one. You will have a lot of freedom in the class, so I would advise to think about what you’re interested in this summer. Social interactions - racism? Politics - Obamacare? Just to name a few examples.
