<p>Um…yes, they will. As an AP student you are expected to know when to use imperfect and when to use preterite.</p>

<p>It is easy to differentiate between imperfect and preterite based on context, but sometimes it can be hard remembering which one to use when speaking. Just remember the words that are usually associated with each.</p>
