i got a 4. even though i was expecting a 5, i dont care b/c Northwestern gives language requirement fulfillment for a 4 in spanish language. YEAAAAAA. it feels weird that i will never take a class that wont be in english again.

I have been really interested in Spanish since I took my first class in 7th grade (I am white and from Minnesota). In 10th grade I took AP Spanish Language and got a 5 on the exam. Since I had finished all of the Spanish in my high school, I haven't been able to use it and now I have forgotten everything.... Does anyone know a good way to review before college? I don't live by any Spanish-speaking people and there are no camps/programs available to me.

Wow, jgholcomb, your story is EXACTLY mine! White Minnesotan here who didn't take Spanish until 7th grade! I self-studied for the AP exam this year (10th grade) and got a four...but still, that's amazing how similar we are! I plan on taking Spanish at the U of M next year though (Advanced Spanish Communication).

Mmmm, let's see. Watch some Spanish movies? Be addicted to Univision? That will help with comprehension. As for the grammar, I would buy a grammar book, or maybe even an AP review book (Princeton or Barron's are best) and study off of that for some of the finer grammar points. Good luck!

i still think its crazy how i did better on lit than on lang. i was only expecting a 3ish (since i only got a 710 on the sat2 w/ listening)

but then i got a 5... which rocks. I emailed my teacher... I was soo happy. (she was my favorite... i had her for both spanish classes)

5 ! hahaha i thought i failed. kind of cracked up on the shakira invitation.

yay! 5! i was worried, felt i might have been borderline between a 4 and a 5 but now im quite relieved!

I wonder if the grade distribution will be significantly different this year...I hope it isn't. I want to be able to say that I (kind of) deserved my 5.
