I'm considering of taking the AP Spanish Literature exam this year, even though my school doesn't have a class for it. I got a 4 on the Spanish Language exam last year, but I heard the Spanish Literature exam is harder. Has anybody taken it and think it's really hard? Is it worth taking it? I'm thinking of getting a minor in spanish in college.

The Spanish Lit exam has a long required reading list, but the exam is not that hard. The multiple-choice section is pretty easy and doesn't take a lot of time. I thought the second part, the three essays, was more difficult and time-consuming. My school technically doesn't have a class for Span. Lit either, but I took an after-school independent study course, and got a 5. If you plan on pursuing spanish in college, then you should definitely take the test.
