i dont think we had to use subjuntive on speaking (correct me if im wrong) but i really hope i did well but yeah the two interview listenings were way beyond anything id ever done....oh well

nahh but my teacher wanted us to use it

wait, what is the "chat"? and how do you get there?

on AIM go to APSpanish as a room
hit me up if you need an invite

it says "invite or request timed out"

Listening MC: failed
Reading MC: aweful
Fill-ins: okay
Informal writing: awesome
Formal writing: okay (good writing, but I also made up a bunch of spanglish)
Conversational speaking: really good, but I deleted it by accident....so it'll be a zero
Presentational speaking: same as conversational

try inviting yourself stanford

some of you guys are really pushing the whole 'don't discuss particulars of the exam' unspoken rule around here

seriously, even though i don't feel too hot about my performance, i don't want my score invalidated b/c i was part of some discussion forum however small the chances of that may be. thanks.

I am, but it says "invite or request timed out"

wow freesia, seriously.

i will do as i please

During the informal speaking part, were we supposed to pause the recorder when the cd was playing? I recorded both the questions and my responses. Is that going to affect my score?

i doubt the recorder would pick up on the questions

you were supposed to, golden

Listening MC - Sucked balls
Reading MC - Decent
Fill-ins - Decent
Informal Writing - Alright
Formal Writing - Alright
Speaking (Conversational) - Good
Speaking (Formal) - Very good

Hoping for a 3

Listening MC - Don't remind me.
Reading MC - Horrible
Fill-ins - Surprisingly really good.
Informal Writing - Pretty good.
Formal Writing - Mediocre.
Speaking (Conversational) - I accidentally left my microphone was off for half of it and the proctor wouldn't let me fix it!
Speaking (Formal) - Better, but I couldnt pronounce one of the names.

Not getting credit for it anyway, so eh.

hey sorry rade88 if you got the idea that i was trying to order you around or something

if you feel that disclosing questions/info from the exam is what you really want/need to do then carry on; honestly im rather impressed by your ability to remember so many details :)

Our class took the AP Released Exam, and It felt about the same difficulty. However, that difficulty was BALLS HARD.

MC:
Listening- The first selection was easy, but it was just downhill from there. I couldn't understand the radio interviews, but the dialogues were pretty average. Long listening wasn't bad. It was still bad, and I'd be happy to get more than half right...
Reading- First passage scared me off, but the rest was not quite as bad. Hopefully this will make up for the rest

FR:
Fill-In-Blanks- I never know how well I do on these sections, and I honestly didn't read closely enough for grammar.
Interpersonal Writing- I wrote to my spanish teacher, and I thought this prompt was really simple.

Presentational Writing- I really didn't pay enough attention to the third source and only wrote like one line about it. I felt that my essay was mostly a summary of the sources, which I'm pretty sure is what I was trying to avoid. I talked about <<la nafta="">> though... :D Thanks AP Gov!</la>

Interpersonal Speaking- I didn't think this topic was too bad; I was hoping to talk to a friend, however. I started pre-writing my responses in my minute in case I didn't have anythign to say, and when I was supposed to ask a question, I blanked out and used my prewritten question, even though it had nothing to do with the prompt... But it only asked to ask a question, and I technically did.

Presentational Speaking- Better than my past presentations, but still god-awful. I thought the time went fast, but that was probably just in my head. Although I did ramble and drop song titles like <<suave>>, and <<mujer negra="" y="" magica="">>. </mujer></suave>

It was emotionally draining, and I still had to go back to school for my last two hours after lunch... My brain was fried, and I had a Physics quiz...

The second narrative sounded like the Gilmore Girls on crack- that was probably the fastest Spanish dialogue I've heard :(

^ Lol, you should hear the practice AP we took last week - that man was rapid firing so bad, my teacher had to pause the tape, rewind it, and basically come to a conclusion that it DID have the intention of going mind blowingly fast.

We all just cracked up and Christmas tree-d that part

@pekingnese09 - that's really funny :) I didn't think the speaking was that fast though, at least not compared to the practice things we did.

Also, who else dropped subjunctive clauses left and right? I used subjunctives in almost every single section - informal speaking, formal writing, formal speaking (two si clauses there) and the informal writing...now whether I used it correctly is a different story
