So, I go to the magnet program at KMHS for math, science, and tech. And honestly, I'm not doing as well as I thought I would be. I'm about to finish freshman year, and I'm coming out with 2 C's one in math, and one in science. If you get a C in a math course, you are on 'probation' for the math field for the next semester, same for sciences. If you get a C in the fall for math, and a C in the spring for math, you're kicked out. Same for science as well... To prevent this happening again, I want to get ahead while I can. So, that I don't get kicked out next fall. I'm going to spend the summer studying up on my next math & science courses, AP Statistics and Honors Physics.

From what I've read on hear, the best book for self study for AP Statistics is Amazon.com: The Practice of Statistics: TI-83/84/89 Graphing Calculator Enhanced (9780716773092): Dan Yates, David S. Moore, Daren S. Starnes: Books . I want to know whether to buy Barron's / Princeton Review with it? (Money isn't an issue, not trying to brag or anything, but my parents will stop at nothing to keep me in this program) Also, what is the best calculator for AP Stats? I used to have a TI-83, but sold it. I want to buy the best for this class.

Also, what is the best book for self study for Honors Physics? I need to pass this class with an A, my GPA is low enough with two C's, five B's, and one A, and these classes are notorious for C-grades.

Thank you, oh so much!
