AP test results are in!

If you look at your oasis account, you can see the results of your AP tests!

under which menu?

Oh i found it. I got a 4 on AP Lit and 4 credits. what classes do I get to miss?

Momofchris ~ Are you saying that you see the 2006 results, or results fro previous years that have just recently been added to your son's electronic file?

I can see the 2006 results under the section Transfer Credit Report.

Oh my goodness, thank you so much. I just got my daughter's results and left her a voicemail to call me on her break at work. She will be very very happy!!

OMG! OMG! I just checked my STARS report and found that I passed every test this year. Then the credit report...

AHHHH! I got 5's on tests that I didn't think I would pass!

bmanbs: AP Eng won't get you out of anything because you have to take writing regardless. Sucks, but you get units.

Any idea how you can send your AP scores to USC? I forgot to fill out that "Send your scores to ___ college" during the actual testing.

If you visit the AP section of the College Board website I suspect there is probably a place there to sign up to have your scores sent. Good luck!

Thanks for telling us about this, momofchris! Does anyone else have their 2005 AP scores up for view as well, because mine don't show up, and I'd really like to get credit for those tests.

Yes, my daughter's 2004 and 2005 tests are up as well as her 2006 tests...she has 24 units of credit! I know a lot of it may go to just elective credit, but I am hopeful she could graduate a semester early, that would save a lot of money.

Yeah, I have my 2005 scores as well. They should be on one cumulative file, unless you changed your name or something like that.

Some of the tests don't get credit (i.e. CompSci if you didn't get a 4 or 5), and the name of the test isn't shown. That might be the case.

Hmm, my 2005 AP scores aren't showing up. Should I call up USC to see if they have them? I thought that the AP score report sent out for 2006 includes all AP scores...

My "D's" are showing as well - 24 units. Still waiting on 3 units to transfer from a j.c. and her AP Spanish score still isn't available. I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Are u guys logging on anywhere?

yea- u have to go to ur oasis account and type in ur password and stuff. go to my.usc.edu - log into that.. and on the right hand side it says "OASIS"- click on that and there u go! :)

that saved money and more waiting :D

link is https://camel2.usc.edu/OASIS/Login.aspx (look for transer credit report)

Wow, my son is happy--he got almost all 5s, including the 2 courses he self-studied for, microecon, macroecon, calc ab, physics c m&e, comp ab. His only 4 this time around was for eng lit--oh well! He has the max 32 credits USC offers for APs.
I suggested he also submit the college transcript where he got an "A" for intro to statistics course at a private college over the summer after 10th grade, tho I wonder if it will be calculated in his GPA.

Yes the policy is that all transfer courses taken at college for grade (even if they don't get you units or subject credit) factor into your total GPA, good or bad.

In fact I think you have to submit the transcript anyway given their policy. Though I doubt they'd do anything for failing to report an 'A' :)

Actually the transfer policy is more like "the transfer GPA only can hurt you but never help you"
