AP testing rant thread

post about em!

I have to wake up at 7:00am tomorrow just to take AP Literature! I already know I'm not passing, but I have to take it in order to keep "AP Literature" on my transcript. I wouldn't want to talk to my admissions office again do I? Damn those requirements.

I also personally hate literature.

I had a crazy day as well. From 8 till 12 I had the Calc BC test, then 12:30 until 2:00 I had the IB Math SL test, which I'll have to continue tomorrow, right after the Enlglish Lit exam. Still, I'd rather take all these exams than attend all those class that have become so monotonous and mundane. Exactly a month left, YAY!! :)

calc bc was really really ez this year

I agree, after last year horror stories from friends, I was a little afraid, but when I saw the test, it was a walk in the park. I hope the Physics C test is just as easy.

I have five over 3 days -_________-

they're a nice break from class, present no serious problem if u dont pass and are a goodtime to sound smart in essays... and u complain... jeash

Being in a testroom with a test in front of me makes me feel obliged to concenrtrate, haha. For me, there's one exception. I refused to take the AP Literature test so I just messed around for a few hours.

omg, jason, i had to wake up at 630am....ha!
what a crappy ap lit exam it was...i depised the FR prompts................................................................................................................

Ah, my mistake. I actually did take the exam. I enjoyed some prompts, but I ended up writing about aliens for fun for the essay section. I would only obtain a 2 if I tried... Not many engineers are professional at literature so I don't feel left out =].

My responses to the first two FRs were strong, but for the last kinda fell short of what I wanted. Still, I thought it was quite simple, despite the fact I was hoping to write on an existential motif. I do agree that engineers don't need to be good in literature analysis.; knowing the importance of ceasura in poem isn't gonna insure the integrity of a bridge during an earth quake. Still, it's fun to have strengths in various areas. The whole Renaissance Man/Woman thing I guess.

You are one admirable person. You enjoy literature, something I can barely find enjoyment in because I keep interpreting works incorrectly.

What's up with that AP Calc Free response Rocket question? uggh...
