last question I was scared at first because I had no idea about indians in california great basin etc. But then you could figure it out…miss. river relied on trade up and down the waterways, great plains relied on hunting buffalo, eastern seaboard relied on farming more, bs’ed my way through that one
I said California had good whether and was near Aztec Empire. I said Great Plains hunted buffalo, and that Pacific Northwest had Rain and Ocean.
Did anyone get a lot of d’s in the first column?? I got so many…
Literally had the worst luck with SAQ, talked about the colonial geographics, early constitution, and Natives before 1492. =l
I got a lot of Ds, too. @eyrar99
Good, @XoXdreamerXox. I felt like they had to be wrong! Did you have form O, too?
Do you guys know how raw scores are going to be calculated and then what raw score you need (about) for each scaled score?
@TopOne I know, right? Those SAQs… I never thought to study natives before 1492!
we won’t know until they release exam scores
Anyone know the total points the exam is out of? 100? 120? 150?
yea, so for mc x/72 , SAQ x/36, DBQ x/45, and essay x/27
so let’s say you had 40/55 on mutiple choices, 52 points out of 72 will go toward you raw score.
@RHSclassof16 I literally said the same exact thing (about National Parks) for the short answer!
i said that in the pacific northwest hunted seals for some reason. i remember the inuit did so, but is that included in the pacific northwest?
@eyrar99 I’m afriad now though because I said founded parks such as Yellowstone and Yosemite and Yellowstone was founded in 1872 (It said from 1890-1945) so I hope I don’t get knocked points for that.
I think I bombed the dbq but luckily my bestie is obsessed with Native Anericans so I think I did well on that short answer .
@TopOne how do you know that? Is there a site that said that?
I said yellowstone and yosemite too, since yosemite is 1890 and they don’t dock for wrong information if you have right information I think we are good. Same for my indian wars messup(pequot for powhatan, but they didn’t ask for examples, just a general similarity)
I guessed so much on the before 1492 one… I only really KNEW that the western plains Native Americans depended on buffalo.
I put sierra clubs/act for muir and conservation of natural resources act for tr.
and yellowstone national park
