FRQ is out of 6. DBQ is out of 7.
I wonder what a 48/55 4/12 6/7 and 3/6 will get me.
probably a 4/5 is my guess @RHSclassof16
I’m predicting a 44/55, 11-12/12, 6/7 and a 4/6. I had Form M.
I’m seriously super confident about the SAQ.
I wonder what a 45/46 out of 55, 8/12, 6/7, and 5/6 will get me…(this is how well i think i did)
I’m worried that my FRQ won’t be legible. I had to pee so bad towards the end of the essay part and my writing was so bad because I was squirming the whole time. I went at the break in between but I have such a small bladder.
changing my comment bc the one I replied to was edited
if i had to guess i’d say i got maybe 48/55, 10/12, 5/7, and 4/6. what might that be? :o
Am I the only one who thought the multiple choice was crap? Also, the last short answer was really strange
@bathes a 5 I think? Did the CB ever say what you should get on each section for a certain score?
@Sydneykuo The MC was the easiest thing I’ve ever seen on a CB test. I took AP Euro last year and the MC for that was ridiculously hard.
Look up Adam Norris’s videos and use the Amsco prep book along with Crash Course. Very very very good. APUSH was pretty easy, I enjoyed it.
@RHSclassof16 They will be able to read it probably. They only mark you as illegible if your handwriting gets literally so bad you can’t even read it.
@suprstar16 yeah I thought the short answer and MC and long essays were super easy. I only kind of disliked the DBQ but hopefully it’s 6/7
How I feel about my FRQ:
Weakenesses:
*Totally disorganized - I was winging it tbh
*Weaker thesis statement than usual
Strengths:
*Nailed the synthesis, outside info, historical evidence/analysis
Contextualization? idk I still don’t have a grasp on what you have to do for that. I just connected it to a broad theme throughout US History. Hopefully I got a point for it.
How I feel about my DBQ:
Weakenesses:
Basic formatting? It wasn’t very sophisticated like my essays usually are.
Strengths:
*Nailed the synthesis, outside info (had a TON here), historical evidence/analysis, thesis
Still meh on the contextualization.
@Chrysanthemum14 lucky! Was Form M hard?
@Sydneykuo yes! The last saq was sooooo weird! and that mc was awful…a lot of irrelevant details/stuff we only talked about like once
@RHSclassof16 I was just thrown off by the MC because it was mainly about native Americans and the colonial era, which was only supposed to make up a small portion of the test; it made me really nervous… I thought the FRQ Aand DBQ were pretty easy though
The MC was mixed for me (a lot of easy ones, very few difficult ones, some mehs) . Hardest part of the test.
The SAQ was fair for me. I wouldn’t say it was easy but I’m confident I got at least 90% right. I skipped around but I was able to go back to complete other parts. I really had to rack my brain for some knowledge. Best part of the test imo.
DBQ was good. Second best.
FRQ was ok. My school had mostly M and S forms. I’m glad I didn’t get the S form because from what I heard about the FRQ topics I would have had nothing to write about.
I know someone in my school who had the M form but his last SAQ topic was not the same as mine. Also there was another person with an S form in my school but they had the same FRQ topics as me.
I had form O as well but I thought the mc and short answer questions were easy but I think I bombed the dbq
