<p>RI constitution is really unfari and only allows about half of the men to vote. Thomas Dorr sets up a peoples party and they draft a new constitution which is then refused. they then set up their own governemnt and RI has 2 govs... The Dorrs or Dorrites try and get the arsenal and fail miserabley. It does however force the current legislature to adapt more flexible voting laws</p>
