AP US Government & Politics 2008 scores

Pretty sure i got a 5 as soon as i took the test. NO studying, reading a review book, etc. BUT had an AMAZING teacher that made class fun everyday and i really learned a lot so i wasnt worried going into the test.

4, even though this was the only one I was so sure I got a 5 on (I got 5s on everything else, even the ones I thought I bombed... what gives?). I'm half amused, half disappointed. My teacher was mediocre. My AP Gov class is supposed to be half US, half comparative, but it ended up being a semester of US and then a quarter of doing nothing... I learned all the comparative the day before the test, literally, and got a 5, but I guess I kind sacrificed my US score. oh, life.

i got a 4, which i'm really happy with because i didn't put forth any effort in the class and i only crammed the day before the test (those chats with all of you guys helped a lot!).

lol i didnt even take the class..and i started studying for it a week before i took it. my only prerequisite was freshman gov. which is basically a vocabulary class

ended up getting a 2 but it was free so im not mad :)

i got an 4 too

5s! I was very excited especially since our school splits it so that we study US for one semester and COMP for the second semester making the classes very rushed.

5

The teacher was verrrry laid back, didn't completely finish all the material, and the class was so ridiculously easy. I just looked through my AP Book and did the Domestic/Foreign Affairs stuff he didn't teach us, and I found the test to not be that challenging at all.

5--last year only 6% of the people who took the exam got 5s (lowest of all APs). I heard some theories that the reason it's so high is because it's relatively easy to get very high scores if you have a solid knowledge of government so if you want to be the creme of the crop, you really gotta know your ****

I didn't think it was too bad. I got a 5 BUT i will say that i probably did so well due to having taken US history and macro. My knowledge from apush and macro helped me more than my gov. knowledge for like half of the FR questions this year. If in hadn't taken those classes, i highly doubt i would have gotten a 5.

I got a 5....basically learned everything from the textbook b/c the class was a joke but sooo much fun. (crazzy teacher)

I got a 4. I definitely felt like I'd get a 5, but who's complaining? :D

The economics essay question caught me off guard. Had no idea they would ask about that. In a frantic review in the day before the test, the subject came up and i told classmates not to worry bout it because it wasnt important and they wouldnt ask about it. I almost freaked when i saw the free response question. Luckily, i remembered most of that section somehow and got a 5, but i definitely got a lil scared when i read the question.

^Same here!! (Except I got a 4)

5-great teacher. i'm a freshie only too!

I got a 3. I hardly studied for the class and rarely read the textbook. I did watch the news and it helped me with the essay about monetary policy.
