AP vs. PSEO

Im a rising high school junior and i have the opportunity to take AP or PSEO classes next year. My school does not have a rigorous education and i believe that the AP classes will not be fulfilling as most people can not even pass the test. On the other hand, i have the choice to take PSEO classes next year at a small private school (Xavier University) where i can take my classes.

In the eyes in the admissions counselor, would it look better if i take the AP classes or if i take the PSEO classes?

If i take a full load of PSEO classes, would i have to apply as a transfer student or just a normal high school senior?

Will my GPA of the PSEO courses effect my college GPA?

It depends on what classes you take I think. If you decided to take something like, a CPR class or an introduction to computers class where you learn how to use Word and stuff instead of AP Biology, then maybe PSEO isn’t that great. But as long as your course selection is still good, then I don’t think colleges will care. All the people I know that did full-time PSEO in Ohio applied as a freshman. I don’t know about the GPA thing, it might depend on the college and whether or not you ask for transfer credit.
