I was wondering if I could get some work study instead of taking out so many loans...

bumppppppp. Help please!

How are you trying to appeal?

I was not aware that you could convert loans into work study. I know I did the reverse. I turned my work study into a loan.

I petitioned to take the current year’s income into consideration and that’s how I fixed my financial aid.

Well I’m not really sure how the appeal process works either. :X How did you appeal? Any useful website you could link me to?

I was thinking of calling the financial aid office and asking them.

They didn’t offer work study to me at all, and my loans are greater than my EFC, so I was thinking maybe I could work some of it off?

Anyone know anything helpful?

Work study is basically a normal job. You can still get a job on campus and work and get money that way.

There’s no real process that I am aware of. Call the financial aid office, explain your situation, talk to your counselor and they will do their best to help you out.

Call them ASAP, they can help you a lot more than any of us can. They can see your file, your stats, etc. They can advise you a lot better than we can.

Loans being greater than EFC have no relevance.
