I was considering appealing to Davis, however I read on an online article that said they first admit waitlisted students and then focus on the appealing process. I also read by the time they read your appeal it would be mid-june. By may 1st you have to commit (as many of you know). Is this worth it? And is this true? I believe the appeal process is also highly unlikely, well, that they will accept you. It’s just a consideration at the moment. And I would also like to know more about that process.
If you have new and compelling information that was not addressed in your application, it might be worth your time. But as you have stated, you would still have to SIR to another school by May 1 and how knows if and when your appeal decision will be posted. You can submit an appeal, but I would try to get excited in attending another school at this point. Remember “bloom where planted”.
Typo :“who knows”
Where do I find how to appeal? On my application it says I can appeal but it doesn’t give me a link.
