<p>So, I know that I am a National Merit Semifinalist- notified by school and saw online. However, I have not been given further application information by my school- they wanted to figure out what they need to do first, or something like that. Can anybody tell me when students must submit their application to become a finalist?</p>
<p>Applications are due October 9. However, I’d submit it earlier (my school counselor is making us turn it in on Oct 1, for example).</p>
<p>I would try to push your school to give you the information. They should have received papers with semifinalist login info and you need that to be able to complete your online application.</p>
<p>Haven’t been able to get the info yet, despite talking with principal and counselor on Thursday. Just glad that I already have a couple essays that I could easily rework for the application. Thanks for your help!</p>
