<p>hey im an international who has really no idea about whats usual or expected, can any1 give me advice if i should type the applications or just handwrite them? is it better to apply online or to send it by mail (im in austria, you know, next to germany)
oh im applying to pton, harvard and yale (even though i actually only want to get into princeton, my dad teaches there^^)

<p>applying electronically through the commonapp.org is now the preferred method.
That said I sent my stuff in by paper from overseas just to be different because I thought it would make me seem more ‘real’ hahaha but then again most of my ideas are a bit wacky.</p>
<p>I agree that you should apply electronically, but I don’t believe the common app is preferred to the Princeton app. Equal, methinks.</p>
<p>well they say that one should fill out the commapp and then theres a supplement for princeton… is there another princeton application?? anyway, i was just thinking that via mail might be easier because i got lots of extra stuff, a cd with a slideshow for ex, then an activities sheet, a letter from a pton professor about my auditing lectures, and some explanations from me and my counselor about the austrian school system… so they would hav all that like in their hands…
