Application help

I just finished filling out part 2; I need help with item D. Academic Worksheet. It's the part that asks you for your completed coursework and coursework in progress. Since I'm not in an American system (foreign country), I have no idea how to fill this out. We don't have general or honors courses, and no IB or AP courses are offered. What we have are IGCSE and GCE O-level courses (grades 9-10) and GCE A-level courses (grades 11-12). There's no Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Math Analysis (what's this, actual analysis -- in high school?) or Calculus. Instead we have IGCSE Mathematics, IGCSE Additional Mathematics, GCE A-level Mathematics and GCE A-level Further Mathematics, and they pretty much cover all that.

Also, what if I'm taking two Foreign Languages? And what if I'm taking other courses that don't get reported on my transcript (e.g. Social Science or Religious Studies), do I still put them down? How about if I'm self-studying a 'course', do I also put it down?

Ugh.. :(

Oh, and thanks in advance. :)

I can't remember what I did but I was in a similar predicament. Usually your transcript sorts it out though. :)

I decided to e-mail Caltech and ask them about it. Thanks for your reply, amrik, and good luck with your EA decision! :)

"Math Analysis" is a weird catchall course that happens between Trig and Calculus to prevent people from taking Calculus too early and, depending on how good it is, prepare somewhat for college math. For example, mine had some linear algebra, combinatorics, a bit of group theory, and other odds and ends.
