Application ID Number?

Do Common App people not get one to check applicant status?

you only get it after your supplement to the common app is sent in, then they'll email you with it.

Yeah, but I submitted my supplement 5 days ago...it says it should come in the mail in 72 hours.

it was a weekend...and a holiday. plus its a busy time since everyone is getting apps in at last minute. so you cant expect them to get your filing done for about a week I'd expect. sorry, you probably have to wait, just be patient.

Alright...I was just a bit worried...I wanted to check on the status of my rec letters because I'm worried that NONE of them got through (I know, I know...stupid paranoia). Was it bad I sent them all to 1801 Hinman instead of the PO Box?

anyone else not get their ID number yet? it's been 8 days since I sent my Common App and supplement in...

I didn't get the email, so I put my email in the "forgot application ID number" thing and they emailed it to me instantly.

thanks, that worked.

so is anyone else missing anything? my high school transcript, school report, and recommendations aren't on there yet.

i am also missing my transcript, recommendations, and school report

they were sent in november but when i called northwestern, they said that they probably hadn't processed them yet

Also missing school report, transcript, and recs.

I read somewhere on this board that sometimes the recs show up as "0" even if they have been received.

Yea, I heard that too.

Yeah I ended up having to enter in "Did you forget your Application ID?" to get one. Recs/transcript missing, supposedly, even though they were sent in November.

All my stuff is missing too. I wouldn't worry much about it.

thanks for this post! i requested an number and when i checked the status i saw i had accidently applied for engineering. i selected the wrong "undecided" major... i wrote them an email though so hopefully everything will be fine.
