<p>I activated my Cornell ApplicantID with no problems, but when I try to log into the self-service system I get an error message, or my browser gets stuck loading the page. Anyone else having this problem?</p>

but when we did the activation thing, it did say to expect some lag time so maybe it'll be up tomorrow.</p>

<p>What I don't understand is that there is such a nice facility called the "Application Self-Service System" which is supposed to allow you to check your application status but, unfortunately, not during the most critical period (from Dec 15 to mid-February). Doesn't that defeat the purpose of providing such a system? Cornell's admissions should put their acts together and probably learn from the much larger but still efficient public universities. After all, the applicants are paying customers and deserve better services.</p>

and yes usually my browser screws up (ever since activation), but it will eventually go thru after i reloaded the browser a few times
i'm guessing the huge number of applicants right now is causing it</p>
<p>No need to log in anyways, all you get is a letter saying it is unavailable.</p>
