Application "still under review"?

Hi everyone, I applied to Auburn University and had all my materials in by October 15th. I just checked and my application status says, Application Status: Decision Made

and then under decision, it says "still under review"

I am confused. What exactly does this mean and when will I know if I have been accepted?

Thanks!

I just found out that it means I didn’t make it through the first round of rolling admissions, but I am going onto the second. Which means I will find out December 15th rather than November 15th. Do you think there is still hope?

It means they decided not to admit you in the first round of Rolling admissions and are sort of deferring you. Or, it may just be that your teachers/recommenders didn’t submit all your records on time so they weren’t able to consider your application yet. Or perhaps your application just wasn’t considered that competitive but not out of the running so they’ll consider it again.
Where else have you applied Rolling Admissions?

Loyola University Chicago, Franklin College Switzerland, University of Alabama, Marquette University are the others I applied to that have rolling admissions, and so far I have been accepted to University of Alabama but have not heard back from the others.

You have a good safety already, an admission in hand: congratulations. And in my opinion UAlabama is a better school than Auburn, but ymmv (BTW I have no horse in that race, I’m not related in any way to either school).
Hopefully you’ll soon hear back from a few.
I’d imagine you’re in at Franklin in Switzerland since their number1 requirement is that you can pay (yes, not the best reputation). but you have great other choices on your list.
