My son is filling out the OSU application, I don’t see any reference to teacher recommendations. Do they not require these, should he send them as a supplement anyway??

Thanks in advance for your help

I don't remember if I submitted any, but as a rule for college admissions, you can usually submit extra supplements to your application without any kind of penalty. That said, Ohio State does not require teacher recommendations.

Recall however that for some scholarships, such as Morrill, recommendations ARE required!

As always, for any application questions and queries, your very best bet is contacting the Office of Admissions, via:

Any of the information located here: The Ohio State University

Good luck!

if i want to apply scholarships, should i turn in my teacher recommendation letter along with my college app? and where can i find the teacher recommendation form?

There is no teacher recommendation form for OSU, unless it's specifically for certain scholarships.

i am taking the ACT/SAT in October, but i want to send my application before the October tests' scores come out, and my old scores were already sent to them. what should i do on my application?

Hi! Does anyone have a list of universities which DO NOT require teacher/ counselor recommendations? I'm especially interested in the top 25 universities. If you do, please reply here on this thread or alternatively, PM or email me. Thanks in advance! (:
