Applied early action to UMass Amherst, still haven't recieved anything, has anyone else?

I’m starting to get a little worried about my application to UMass Amherst since I’ve heard nothing yet, even though I’ve applied early action and am supposed to get news from “end of December through mid-January.” When I check on my application online everything says it’s been received, it doesn’t show anything missing, and it says my status is “under review.”

Has anyone received anything from UMass Amherst yet? Also, will it show the status of my application (accepted/rejection) online on the application status check webpage when it finally comes out?

I have received nothing yet from UMASS. Yes, your application online (SPIRE) will tell you if you have been rejected or accepted 5-7 days after they have sent the decision in the mail. Good luck!

@cmkluza Yes, lots of people have heard already for EA, but there are many who haven’t yet. It is all on the Class of 2020 decision thread http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-massachusetts-amherst/1839574-umass-amherst-class-of-2020-decision-thread.html#latest. According to this comment, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/19186693/#Comment_19186693, they now say they won’t have everything out until the end of the month. Last reported decision was posted on Jan 15.

My son’s acceptance was mailed on Jan 15th

my daughter just checked online last night and was deferred. She applied EA. they want semester grades but won’t have an answer till April then and decisions due May.

My daughter received her acceptance letter today. It was dated January 19th and post marked on the 21st. Her Spire account has not been updated. It still shows her application is under review. Best of luck to you.
