Applied rd this yr- chances?

<p>i appled RD to BU and it’s one of my top 4 choices. I only got into 1 of my top 4 so far- have yet to hear back from the last 3. What do you think?</p>

<p>SAT- 600m 650v 660w
gpa- 93 so idk what that is on the 4.0 scale?
ranked 17/174 at a competitive ny hs
schedule this yr includes ap stats&ap english (would have more aps but my school offers VERY few)</p>

<p>after school job at a clothing store since sept 04
jewish heritage club
arista/archon national honor society
volunteering in the school office 6hrs/week since sophomore yri attended BU’s summer challenge program last summer (this isn’t overwhelmingly helpful but can’t hurt right?</p>

<p>applied to college of communications for journalism but plan on switching to nutritional science. my essay abt. communication was really good i thought. common app essay was about my experience w diversity at BU. good recs as well (two teacher one from employer).</p>

<p>2 SAT subject tests are mandatory if you apply to COM, so if you didn't take SAT II's there might be a problem...other than that you have very very strong credentials....</p>

<p>yeah i hope they only count 2 if so that would be literature - 720 & math level 1- 600. i had also taken spanish & us hist but those weren't too great . .</p>

<p>jenxjuicy: I'm basically in the same boat. I took 3 (Spanish and Literature) and both were good. US History on the other hand...</p>
