<p>I just applied. The fact that Stanford is now 100% out of my control is terrifying.</p>
<p>Think about it this way: Since it is out of your hands, there is now nothing you can do and therefore nothing to stress out about until the results are out. I'm actually panicking for a different reason, if you read my post about withdrawing.</p>

<p>It is supposed to mid-December (most school are 12/15) but they have been known to come out a few days earlier. To get the results faster? Send massive bribes to the admissions office.</p>
<p>Haha. Last year I think people were able to find out on December 12th, which was a Friday. I hope its a Friday this year too because then you can have to weekend to celebrate/recoop after the decision.</p>

<p>Yes, Stanford has its own shopping mall, buuuuut I was told it's quite expensive. ;)</p>

<p>BlueReedz is right. As hard as it might be, trying to relax and enjoy the next 40 days is the best idea... I am still terrified, though...</p>
<p>I don't know about relaxing, but all the school work I left undone, and now have to do, for Stanford is bound to keep me from stressing!</p>
<p>Haha I am nervous about Stanford's decision but others I have too much stuff on my mind to worry about it. Grade 12 first semester is definitely the busiest time for IB. </p>
<p>But hah can't wait to hang out with you guys in the shopping mall or somewhere if by any chance we do get in.</p>

<p>Does Stanford send out likely letter? If they do, when?</p>
<p>are you guys sure about them sending out the decisions early? i never heard about that before... if that's true, all the better for we'll know that much sooner! if it's good news, that is. which i hope it is.</p>
