Best shot at Tulane

All look like reaches but I think you could possibly get into Tulane best of luck!
Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1851091-chance-me-please.html#latest

Assuming I added correctly, according to your list, you spend 61 hours per week during the school year in extracurricular activities and your job. How is that possible, given that you also go to school and do homework?

Agree that Tulane is your best chance.

To clarify to the OP, I was not trying to offend. I was mostly concerned. I think it would be very difficult to maintain that level of activity and not burn out or have it negatively impact one’s health. Restaurant work can be physically demanding on its own, not to mention adding numerous other commitments.

OP, CHS or BHS? RHS ftw either way

I think with your stats and your extracurricular activities, if your essays were good enough, you should get into any of your schools.

Did you apply early somewhere?

Go find a way to distract yourself. Seriously: asking for chances after applying is a mug’s game at best, and in real terms is useless. If you haven’t already compared your stats to the admitted student profiles for each college and/or checked Naviance (which you should have done before you applied) you can do that. But beyond that, NOBODY on CC knows what you can expect b/c none of us are on the AdComms at those unis.

Why did you apply to schools without ABET accreditation? Chicago, Emory have none. Is there a different area you are interested in? I think the adcoms are going to look at your application and think you are exaggerating with 46+ current hrs per week of ECs during the school year without some explanation. Even 20 is a lot considering school, homework, transport, sleeping etc. but still plausible.

What should you expect? Very high tuition bills.

UChicago and Emory don’t have undergrad engineering. What did you apply for there? All reaches, best shot at Tulane.
