The Common App site tells me, “Once your application is processed, you will be able to access your application status on myUCF. To obtain your sign-on information for myUCF, click “Sign-On” then “What is my NID?”. For a list of items that we may need to complete your application, please visit our Applicants web page. Attending an international institution? Click here for evaluation requirements.”
I submitted earlier this week (Monday, I think), and to this point have not had any success using the above steps.
Anybody have an idea how I can get in? Or should I just call UCF?
@thosa1 - I dont know anything about UCF portal, but I suggested this to another poster for his / her application to another college and it actually was the issue and he / she was able to get it sorted out, so here it goes FWIW.
Check to see if your email address is correctly spelled on CA and if you are using it exactly in the UCF portal. If that is all correct, check to see for correctness of the spelling of your name, SSN, DOB, etc - and down the line. In the other applicant’s case, I think it was the email address being mistyped in the CA. Good luck. Keep us posted.
After I spoke to someone in the admissions office I received an e-mail saying thank you for submitting you Common App. Once the myUSF portal is established you will receive and e-mail how to log-in. I also states allow up to 2 weeks from date of submission. They are manually entering in applications from the Common App.
