Applying again for 10th grade

Last year I applied to nmh andover and st pauls and was waitlisted at each of them. I never heard back from any of them and was never taken off the waitlists and i was thinking about applying to the same schools again for 10th grade, and maybe a few other schools.
I had good SSAT scores around 95 overall after a retake. I had straight a's the entire year. I play rugby. I've had a job for a year. I can play piano and am learning the guitar and mandolin. I also needed, and still need, a lot of financial aide. I was just looking for advice and suggestions from anyone or any schools u think I should apply to.
Thanks

If any one knows anything please help me out I’d be glad to answer anyone elses posts if they answer mine

I guess it’s summer vacation time and fewer people are checking in to CC.

You sound like a strong student and there have been several students here who have persevered second time around. Some even believe that it helps to show commitment if you apply again.

But please keep in mind that if you need substantial financial aid you need to cast a wide net. I just discovered the school search function at [Boarding School Guided Search - The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS)](http://www.boardingschools.com/find-a-school/search-tools/guided-search.aspx) and found it to be a great way to narrow the list of schools that would be a good fit (we were looking for Mandarin Chinese within 100 miles of sibling #1 and it helped to use TABS to narrow the list).

Ok, you got my attention with the mandolin which brings Dr Zhivago to mind. Anyway, reapply to those schools you seriously see your self attending. I am not aware of any BS rugby teams. I also second WCMOM1958 suggestion. No one is going to be able to just layout for you the schools to which you should apply. You’re going to have to get on the school websites and do your own research. There is an incredible amount of information on the internet and the schools really pride them selves with their websites. Be honest with your self when looking at the schools. There are some big differences between all three schools you mentioned. Try to narrow your search to fits only as opposed to reaches and safeties. Don’t get hung up on notoriety. Once you’ve narrowed it down to about 5 schools then come back with specific questions as opposed to broad inquiries. Plenty of school spirit here once you name a particular school. You’ve been through this before and can do it again and it should not be as painful second time around. Do it with the glass half full, it’s a lot more fun that way, good luck!

Thank you guys helped alot
Seriously
