so i'm applying to umich for DUAL: lsa and the school of music. and i'm applying for it all by nov. 1st for the early response thing. but! it says on their website that if i'm applying for the music school, they won't give me a decision before the audition, which makes sense. but since on another page of their website, they say that i'll b getting notice of my admission by TWO different admission letters if i'm applying for a double.... i'm assuming i'll get my lsa admission notice by dec. 24th.......... is that right?!
thank u in advance.

I’m doing the same thing, and yes you are right. The two admissions processes are separate (at least that’s what someone told me). Good luck with your audition.

haha that’s pretty cool! thanks. you too!! may i ask what instrument?

See my username And yours?

HAHA wow. i missed that. but that’s great! i was a pianist for 6 years before i quit. i’m all violin now. who’s studio r u applying for?!

Well I put Logan Skelton down as my first choice, but that’s only because my teacher has heard good things about him. How about you?

oh!! exciting! well. when i played piano, i learned from arthur green i used to b pretty good… yea. skelton is very good too! more known by students for being excellent technically. like if u have any problem with a passage, he can show you something that immediately fixes that. very nice guy too. yea. but i would recommend green. just because he is one of the more known professors from uofm. excellent teacher too. i can vouch for that. haha
my violin teacher is a professor at umich. (:

Oh cool! Now I really hope I get in…
