So, I'm at a top 10 school in my home state right now and considering a transfer to my state's public flagship (mid 20's in the rankings I guess? You can probably figure out the two schools now) due to a combination of several factors which I'm not going to go into detail on. My GPA at the first school is kind of low, sitting right at 3.0 from my first semester. My big question here is, if I transfer (assuming I get in), will law schools to which I apply care about my GPA/performance at the first school, especially if I have a much better GPA at the second? I know that since I am transferring down and had a low GPA it probably doesn't look good, but I'm confident I can do quite well on the LSAT and should have a much better GPA at the second school. Thanks!
