<p>I am applying Test-Optional to American University and noticed that the form requires that you include your AU ID. What is that and where can I find it? I cannot submit the test-optional form without it. </p>

<p>It’s been a couple of years, but I think you were assigned one when you set up your AU admissions portal, and it’s probably in the footer (or maybe the header) of any email you’ve ever received from AU.</p>
<p>You could also call AU admissions and ask them this question. That way you can be sure that you’ll get a fast and reliable answer. If you’re afraid they’ll think it’s a dumb question–they shouldn’t, but if you’re afraid they will–don’t tell them your name. If they ask, tell them your name is Igor Sikorsky.</p>
