<p>Is it not advisable to apply to both Barnard & Columbia University?
Would it hurt my chances at getting accepted into either one if I decide to apply to both?
And would it show up/come up that I applied to both colleges?
I’m really interested in both colleges and I feel as if I apply to both I at least have two chances at getting accepted.</p>
<p>I don’t see any problem with it…my daughter did so…ok she didn’t get into Columbia and was waitlisted at Barnard but I doubt if it had anything to do with applying to both. </p>
<p>As far as whether it will “show up” that you are applying to both, it won’t unless you tell them. Most schools as what other schools you’re applying to but again I don’t see them holding this against you. Good luck.</p>
