Applying to business program?

<p>Does anyone know how difficult it is to get into the business program when applying? I do not have the GPA to get into the program at the moment (I think I have a 2.95 or something because I transferred) so I was wondering if anyone applied to the program and got in. The only problem is that I am going to be a junior this fall, and I do not want to apply only to find out too late, therefore putting my whole class schedule and graduation date on hold. I want to go into the marketing and advertising field in either television or music once I graduate, so business is a good option. If I do not decide to go into business, I have to major in the Cinema and Cultural Studies major or Sociology, both very questionable to myself and future employers.</p>

<p>What does transferring have to do with your GPA? How far are you from the required GPA for admission into the College of Business?</p>

<p>the program averages my old GPA with the one at SBU, as well as previous college courses taken during HS and winter/summer classes. i think i have a 2.95, and they want a 3.1/3.2.</p>
