Applying to MS in Computer Science without BS in Computer Science

Hello CC community posters,

Here is one of my plans:

Applying to MS degree in computer science:

Current qualifications:

1 year of work experience at a software company(When I start the degree it would be closer to 2 years of experience). Five months in web design for previous university, three months in an information technology internship, three months in a research internship using statistics. 3.4 UG GPA in economics with GRE taken 2 years ago with high quantitative score.

I have completed a bachelor's degree in economics and strictly have not completed all the pre-requisites for the computer science degree: currently I am taking calculus iii and will take more of the pre-requisites over the summer.

My plan is to work full time during the day and complete the MS degree at night in three years time. During this time I will stay working at a software company(May want to switch to get better experience) and continue to progress and advance- is it favorable to me to look into going into CS since I think I can create a strong career path in software?

I am not the best programmer but I can definitely learn(I have apserger's syndrome as well). This is one of the career paths which I plan to pursue.....anybody in a similar path?

You need to look at the master program offered at your home school; it will give you a good indicator of what pre-reqs are generally required for Masters classes.
