Applying to transfer after a run in with a mental illness, are my hopes too high?

Entering high school, I had already picked out the colleges I wanted to go to. Bowdoin, Reed, Brown, Swarthmore, Amherst, and Williams were my dream schools.
During freshman and half of sophomore year of high school, I received straight A's and was 3rd in my class. However, during the second semester of sophomore year I was hit with extreme depression; my grades suffered tremendously. Through junior and most of senior year, I mainly received C's and B's and failed two classes. I recovered during second semester of senior year when I finally found a medication which combated my depression effectively.
Now I am at a local state university in my freshman year and want to transfer to the colleges I had dreamed of going to when I was a freshman and sophomore. To boost my previous score, I am studying for the SAT's which I will take in december(my ideal score would be in the 2100-2200's range). I am confident I will receive straight A's this semester and I've recently began working at a literary research archive.
Is transferring to these types of schools a possibility with my grades in high school? Am I getting my hopes too high? Is there anyone else in my situation?

Transferring can be tough, especially if you need scholarships or Financial Aid. Give your local state u a chance. At bigger schools it can take a while to set in. If you keep great grades, you will have fine opportunities.
