Approaching Dual Passage

What is a good strategy for the long dual passages?

Thanks

The one, that works for me and, I believe, is the most common is to read 1st passage and answer questions about it, than to do the same with the 2nd. The only questions left are the ones, which deal with both passages. Now that you’ve read both, you’ll able to answer them, mostly without re-reading the passages, as these questions mostly deal with the general ideas, attitudes of authors etc.

Read Q’s and look for # line references

Start to read 1st passage, paragraph by paragraph, reading more closely when approaching references

Do the same for 2nd passage.

After answering the citation Q’s and word-incontext Q’s, answer the main idea Q’s based on your answers from the previous Q’s.
