so delirious does, maybe if you pm him he'll share?

One of the things we were told at the FA session was that what we thought was meeting need and what they thought were 2 different things.

yeah, send me a PM and i'll hook you up with my webshots.

Hey what did you guys do for transportation? I'm going to the 21-22 overnight and I was thinking of taking the CTA from the O'Hare, only it says you have to walk a block for a transfer and I'm kind of paranoid about being out in the city alone with a suitcase. So any word on the safety around the transfer area?

Perhaps the easiest thing to do is to take the train to the Loop (downtown, perhaps the Washington stop) and take a cab from there.

hey guys, i'm new here.

I was at the overnight, and I had a good time. The classes were great, the sessions were informative, and the parties at night were a good time (well, one of them was, the one at the frat where most of the stuff was in a basement was terrible! The other party was awesome).

Also, I took a Max dorm tour and my tour guide was ridiculously hot and from Africa (an ex-pat American, I guess, since he had no accent). If every guy at UofC was as hot as this one, wow. He's convinced me to go there.

Though that's not why I'm going to the UofC, lol. Seriously, I really think it's going to be a fun place and it really suits my personallity.

dude, coffee, you dont need a suitcase. it's an overnight. i'm a fairly prissy girl (read: you'd expect me to need a lot of stuff, even on an overnight) and i just brought a backpack and i was more than fine.

coffeecake: There is a shuttle from Ohara called Omega. My D took it and it took her to within a block of admissions.
Re: suitcases. My D said there was one prospie at her visit who had four suitcases for an overnight. Amazing.

Lol...the problem with my packing is that I ALWAYS end up bringing way more things than I need, and the fact that my items don't mesh and squeeze into a suitcase (blow dryer, curling iron, hair spray, deodorant, lotion, homework-that-I'll-never-even-look-at-but-I-think-I'm-going-to-do etc.). Not to mention I always pack for all different kinds of weather. AND especially with a sleeping bag, I'm going to need a huge suitcase. But no worries on the four suitcases, I'm not that crazy.

P.S. How did everyone like the showers? You DO shower during the overnight, don't you???
P.P.S. So shuttle's definitely the way to go? I'm not too crazy about paying $20.00, but then I'm a stingy poor girl.
