it’s always 34,
nuff said

What was the one about distance from the houses?

I got like 218 or something. It was a lot bigger than the others. I think I might have done the formula wrong… :(

can’t remember but I did the Pythagorean theorem and multiplied by 10

do you mean the distance from the two towns?

I think i got Sqrt 3200 for that… or 56ish?

Oh what the hell was the clock one? No one had any idea how to do it. I put 105 or something… I might have had 100. I don’t know. What the hell was that even supposed to be? It’s stuff like that that made this math really difficult.

what clock one? the distance the minute hand traveled?

that one was 105 because the radius was 5 and so diameter is 10pi, since it went from 2:10 to 5:30, the minute hand went around 3 times completely, which is 30pi, and then 1/3 around (20 minutes). so the answer was 30pi+10/3 pi =approx 105

That very one. I made a circle, used arcs, made a cartesian plane… got nothing.

It was 105.
You had to find the circumference and multiply it by 3.
Then you find the length of the arc between the two minute hands w/ s=r(theta)
r=5 and the answer comes out to be like 104.472357928375 or something like that.

you were thinking to hard

MathLord lol…you are no longer a Math lord lol

For the projectile going into the sky, everyone got 30 + 20sqrt3 + 20sqrt2, right? Or something like that. It was the three part answer (D), which I got by dividing the figure into 3 triangles.

thats what i got

Oh, well I got it right. The MathLord lives on!

Yeah, I’m pretty damn sure that it’s right.

yea it was the long last one

ugh i got that tanx= -7/24 wrong! i read it and i thought it said that the angle was between 90 and 180 degrees and i kept thinking, how can a right triangle have two angles that are 90 degrees or greater? then my friend told me how it was referring to the coordinate grid!..and i also got the last problem wrong with the cube inscribed in the sphere asking for radius NOT diameter! BULL!

yeah i put the diameter on the last problem also : (

wat was the answer to the very last problem??

…i believe i got 2 radical 2

???v

wat was the answer to the square inscribed in a cube??
